Kommand: Mail - Terms of Service

Kommand Terms of Service

Effective date: October 2026

These terms apply when you use Kommand, the email app for Gmail on Mac, iPhone and iPad made by Studiolektrik ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Kommand, you agree to these terms.

1. The app

Kommand lets you read, write and organise the mail in your own Gmail accounts. Kommand is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Google. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC.

2. App Store terms

You get Kommand through Apple's App Store. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. These terms add to it.

  • Price, payment, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple, under Apple's terms.

  • Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Kommand. For questions, contact us.

3. Your Google account

  • To use Kommand, you sign in with your own Google account and allow Kommand access to your Gmail.

  • You remain responsible for your Google account and for complying with Google's Terms of Service.

  • You can withdraw Kommand's access at any time, in the app or on your Google Account permissions page.

4. Your content

Your email stays yours. Kommand only processes it on your device to provide the app's features. We do not receive, store or use your email. How Kommand handles data is described in the Kommand Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Kommand to:

  • send spam or unsolicited bulk mail;

  • send illegal, harmful or fraudulent content;

  • break the law, or anyone else's rights;

  • misuse, overload or reverse-engineer the app, or Google's services through the app.

6. Features that act for you

Kommand can act on your mail when you tell it to:

  • Scheduled messages and Dropshots: sends messages and files at a time or on a schedule you set.

  • Snooze: brings mail back to your inbox later.

  • Empty Trash / Empty Spam: deletes mail permanently.

  • Auto-reply: turns Gmail's vacation responder on or off.

Check recipients, attachments and schedules before you confirm. Kommand needs your device, an internet connection and access to your Google account to carry out scheduled actions. Mail deleted permanently cannot be recovered by us.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kommand reliable, but it depends on your device, your internet connection and Google's services. We can't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors.

We may update, change or stop features. If Google changes or limits Gmail access, some features may stop working.

8. Liability

We provide Kommand with care. To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost data, lost profits or missed messages.

  • We are not liable for problems caused by Google's services, your device or your internet connection.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Kommand.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country. Nothing limits our liability for intent or gross negligence.

9. Ending use

You can stop using Kommand at any time by signing out and deleting the app. We may end your use of Kommand if you seriously break these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app or the law changes. We'll change the effective date above. For important changes, we'll let you know in the app or on this page before they take effect.
